On Wednesday the 3rd of August the school band had their debut on the stage of the Ulumburra Theatre participating in the Victorian Schools Music Festival. The students performed two pieces and gave an excellent performance for audience members and the festival adjudicators. The band was then given an onstage tutorial and listened to other bands performing before returning to school. The adjudicators commented on the bands control, accuracy and tone. We were awarded outstanding for our presentation and received a video and professional photo of the group.
