2018 is going to be a fantastic year. We welcome all of our new students and hope that you have a great experience at Eaglehawk Secondary College!

This year Eaglehawk Secondary College has partnered with VYBE Youth (the youth and student arm of Victory Church) to provide a Breakfast Program. The program will be run of a Friday morning roughly between 8:15-8:45am with music, food and occasional games/activities. Pancakes with a mixture of toppings, fruit juices and occasional hot chocolates on a cold morning will be on the menu. 3-8 VYBE team members will be there to connect with students, help reinforce a positive school culture and vision as well as provide positive role models that the students can relate to. Mason and Jessica Hudson oversee and lead the VYBE team and are passionate about helping teenagers discover purpose and become all they can be. Please make them feel welcome! Breakfast Club will still run with ESC staff members Monday-Thursday.

Homework Club is back! Our talented Teacher Assistant Sarena will be in the Library every Monday & Wednesday from 3:15pm - 4:15pm to help students with their work. Everyone is welcome!

Immunisations for year 7 and year 10 students will be held at the College on Monday 26th March. Students should have receieved an immunisation consent card - however spares are available at our General Office. Please fill out the card for your child and return to the general office by Friday 16th March.

This coming Thursday during period 4, all Year 7’s will be walking to Lake Tom Thumb to compete in ESC’s cross country. Students will report to their classroom teacher at the start of P4, before meeting near the Library to walk together to the course. They will be running / walking around a 3km course which takes them around both lakes. Students will be accompanied by their regular teacher with staff supervision being provided at key places on the course. Please contact your child’s T/A if you have any questions or concerns. Students will return to the school to be dismissed at 3:05pm.

We are inviting all parents/guardians to complete a quick, four minute survey about all things ESC. This feedback will be used to help identify areas where we can improve. Please click the link to complete the survey:
